In the cold season you have the travelers who desire to get away the bitter cold and icy weather, some journey to the better climates such as California, Texas and Florida are among the favorites. In the warner seaons RV travel expands over the US United States~country} with so many popular spots.

In Arizona, there is Yuma, Quartzsite, and Phoenix, where someone will find lots of RVers enjoying the warm days and cool evenings. This part of the United States encourages many to stay for the the winter due to the climate and all the activities that is there for people to make a part of their daily activities. Seasonal employment can also be be found in plentiful quantity.

Florida is also at the top of the list for many RVers for the winter season. The weather, though very high in moisture is warm and there are many activities around this region as well. The reservation rates are much higher as the other “Winter” states are but this too can be alleviated with working or volunteering at them. An additional popular venue for wintering is in Texas. The weather is also ideal during the colder season but there are areas that receive a lot of moisture and are colder than other above mentioned regions but it is still a hot spot for spending the colder season. The activities here are endless as well since there are many ranches to hang out at or even stay on the Gulf of Mexico for a good location.

Although California has year round great weather as well, it does not seem to be among the top visited States for the winter that you hear many “Snowbirds“ talking about. Quite possibly because of the high cost of living. The camping fees are the highest we have seen. Driving up the coast, stopping at the various areas as you travel from San Diego up the to the Redwood Forest can be a very exciting trip.

The Midwest warms up just in time for many travelers to explore the breathtaking drives through this wonderful part of the United States. Most travel from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend with other holidays in the middle. Some folks try to beat the season and start camping the end of April, early May or stay longer, well into October.

A big advantage of the many seasons can improve the excitement in these regions. The clearing of the snow and cold with springtime groundbreaking brings fresh flowers. The autumn scenery are also impressive. Use an internet  campground directory to locate a place for your season.

an additional region for summer RV traveling would be in either the Northwest or Northeast. Both regions also get cold in the winter but have some outstanding sights to see during the high season. There is much beauty to experience in the “Big Sky” of Montana that you won’t want to miss. What we imagined it to be like was amazing, then to actually see those skies with our own eyes was beyond words.
