Interesting Things To Do in Somerset


There’s plenty of variety in Somerset- from the flat marshlands of the Levels and Moors to the steep cliffs of the Mendips or the rolling landscape of Exmoor, we have plenty to offer.

Somerset is really a rural county within the southwest of England, but there’s more to do than visit farms. This county has a splendid history and provides many enjoyable visiting opportunities.

Wookey Hole caves have been inhabited by humans for 50,000 years and are now reported to be haunted by numerous ghosts. Kids of all ages will delight in the magnificent caves and stories,  hall of mirrors, and crazy golf course. There’s also a large collection of life-size dinosaur models and look out for the witch!

Youngsters will love heading to the Royal Navy museum at Yeovilton. Here, you are able to step on board a British-built Concorde. You are able to also enjoy an experience in a helicopter throughout the working experience. Read the full story
