How much travel budget would I need for a month trip to Syria?

My husband together with my kids are going to Syria next year for a month long vacation to visit our relatives there (expatriates).

We will be staying with his relatives so we dont need money for a hotel.

How much spending money do we need (US dollars) for a month in Syria?

I’ll be visiting Syria this June, anyone been there?

I will be traveling to Syria two months from now and I would like to get an advice as to travel safety, how does it looks like in Syria?

Is there a hostel there. Its a Muslim country right? Are there Bars that sells alcoholic beverages?
